Description

Small paisleys and flowers in sand cover a black ground, with a wide zigzag border running along each end. The cloth is a heavy, slubby cotton with a dry hand that softens with washing.

The print is laid down by hand with carved wooden blocks in Bagru, near Jaipur. The ends are finished with a hand knotted fringe.
