Description

Round flower medallions in sand sit on a deep madder red ground, with a border of stacked diamonds at each end. The cloth is a heavy, slubby cotton with a dry hand that softens with washing.

The print is laid down by hand with carved wooden blocks in Bagru, near Jaipur. The ends are finished with a hand knotted fringe.
