Description
A heavy cotton jute bedcover, printed by hand in Bagru, near Jaipur. The TNT weave gives the cloth a coarse, textured surface and enough weight to sit flat on the bed as a top layer.
Every piece is printed with carved wooden blocks, one impression at a time. Small variations in colour and block placement are part of the craft and show that the piece is printed by hand.
